The student centre in Monash University has a lighting scheme with combination of white and indirect colour changing lights. The lighting scheme is developed to encourage a fun and exciting learning experience for the students. The lights can be controlled and dimmable depending on the mode of lecture and use of the space. Large, round, high powered surface mounted downlights are used for general lighting while suspended rectangular direct and indirect lights can both be dimmable and RGB color changing to change lighting scenes.

This lighting installation in the lecture theatre changes the learning experience for students and it also enhances their interest during class.
