Swang Space is passionate, empowered, and innovative when it comes to light & ambient. We believe that lights could amplify emotions and strive to create an experience for people where ‘light meets nature’ when designing a space.
As budding lighting designer, we take pride on ourselves being independent from all lighting manufacturers or suppliers to provide the best selection criteria for lights in curating the ambient of the space to suit the built environment through creative and collaborative approach with co-consultants and Client, that meets aesthetic, technical and commercial needs.
Being independent from the manufacturers or suppliers enable us to design to the best interest of the Client and delivers excellence without any bias.
SUAN LIN NG
Director | Principal Lighting Consultant
Associate Member of the International Association of Lighting Designers (Assoc. IALD)
Graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering in 2011, Suan Lin has a decade of experience in the design and consultations for building industry for electrical and lighting services. Her passion and ability in harnessing the creative potential in lighting has then led her to explore the illumination industry.
Her professional experience, knowledge and enthusiasm has led to completing a diverse range of projects from high end hospitality, residences, retails, education institutions, conservation projects to private residences.
Driven with passion and continuous learning, Suan Lin enjoys sharing with anyone who is interested in lights – from architects to designers to electricians and clients. She aspires to be a keynote speaker to university students or associations to share about her experiences and to inspire others to be a professional lighting designer.
